Terms of use

Using Winevery.

These terms cover Winevery’s website, accounts, membership features and public MCP connector. Contact our team if you need help understanding a feature or purchase.

Eligibility and your account

Use Winevery only if you are of legal drinking age where you live. Keep your sign-in credentials private and use your own email address. You are responsible for the information you choose to add and the actions you authorise through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Wine information and recommendations

Winevery is an information and discovery service. Wine details, ratings and review summaries can be incomplete, out of date or associated with a different vintage. Recorded price snapshots are not live offers and do not establish stock or delivery availability. Check the producer, vintage, merchant and final price before making a purchase elsewhere.

Pairings and similar-wine suggestions use the available catalogue evidence. They express possible matches rather than guarantees of taste, suitability or quality. Winevery does not sell or deliver the bottles shown by its public catalogue tools.

Membership and gifts

Creating an account does not start a paid subscription. Before payment, Stripe checkout shows the product, currency, price and renewal information for that transaction. Annual memberships renew according to the checkout terms unless cancelled. Manage an eligible subscription through your account’s billing controls.

A gift Passport is a separate, one-time purchase with the access terms shown at checkout. A demo or courtesy entitlement is not a paid subscription or a payment receipt. If you have a billing, cancellation, gift or refund question, contact support with your receipt reference. We assess requests under the checkout terms and applicable consumer law; mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Your records and sharing

You retain rights in the notes and photos you add. You allow Winevery to store, process and display them as needed to provide the features you request, such as your journal, optional AI note polishing and a share card you choose to publish. Add only material you have permission to use.

A public share link can be viewed by anyone who has it. Review its content before sharing and revoke it when appropriate. Do not upload unlawful content, other people’s confidential information or material that infringes another person’s rights.

The Claude connector

The public MCP connector provides catalogue search, wine details, similar wines and food pairings without a Winevery account or paid plan. Its four tools are read-only. They cannot buy a bottle, create a subscription, read private account records or change your Winevery data.

Claude and other MCP clients are independent services with their own terms. Winevery does not control the final wording of their responses. Refer to the original returned profile and tool documentation when a claim appears uncertain. Listing materials do not imply endorsement or partnership by Anthropic.

Fair use and availability

Do not bypass access controls or request limits, probe other people’s records, distribute credentials, interfere with the service or use the public endpoint to bulk republish the catalogue. Winevery may limit abusive traffic, suspend misuse and maintain or change features. For a legitimate data-access integration beyond the public tools, contact support.

We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free results. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not restrict protections you have under applicable consumer law.

Privacy, changes and contact

Our privacy policy explains information handling. We update this page when the terms change and show the revision date above. Contact the Winevery team at hello@winevery.com for account, terms or billing questions.
